Finding Accounting work in Puerto Plata

I'm an American CPA, and a close friend of a U.S. family that plans to live near Puerto Plata for a year soon.
I can live there with them if I choose, but I can't seem to find precise information online about the chances I would have of finding accounting work, what the pay would be, etc.
Does anyone know of a employment agent, or a Personnel manager who could provide useful information, so that I can decide whether I should go there? I'm still in the U.S. at the moment. Thank you.
