Jazz festival starts in Sosúa!
The fifteenth Jazz Festival starts this time on Wednesday, November 9 at the new park 'Parque Mirador' in Sosúa (Calle sin salida). Sancasani Lorenzo, the organizer of the Jazz Festival, succeeded in interesting enough sponsors so Sosúa can take part in the Jazz Festival again.

On Wednesday evening the Puerto Varas Jazz Sextet (Chile) and Sabrina Estepan 'Las Divas del Jazz' (D.R.) will perform for you. The next day, Thursday, November 10th at half past ten in the morning there will be a workshop in collaboration with the Agrupación Artístttica Puerto Varas Big Band (Chile). In the evening performs for you Tes-a-t (R.D.) and Ismael Miranda (Puerto Rico and the U.S.). This all happens Thursday at the amphitheater of the Casa Marina Resort.
Friday 11 and Saturday, November 12, the Jazz Festival continues on the beach of Cabarete. From 11 AM there will be seminars, workshops, lectures and master classes. At 1 PM starts the 'Youth Jazz concerts’. In the evening the next famous bands, Tutti Druyan (Israel and USA), Xiomara (RD) and Gema Correddera (Cuba) will perform for you. For Saturday evening, the world-famous bands Camasta Rando (RD), Jerry Medina y La Banda (Puerto Rico and the U.S.) have been contracted. Sosúa is proud to be part of the internationally renowned Jazz Festival again. Thanks to the efforts of the organizer of the festival, Sancasani Lorenzo and the many sponsors and the board of the foundation (ADSSosúa) the Jazz Festival returned to our beach town after several years of absence.
