HI, posting from Canada for a friend in Sosua.
He is B pressure welder with 20ish years experience working on the Alberta pipe lines n such and is looking for work.
His # is 809-297-0005 but as he lives in La Mulatta he misses most of his calls. Can post contact information here or email drcanucks@live.com.

no idea what a B pressure welder is? There are plenty of 'welders' here making gates, security grills etc, but I guess your friend does something different. Maybe if you specify what he can do to those who don't know the trade terms, he might get some calls.

Sorry for the late reply; summer here and that time is almost over!
A B Pressure Ticket is basically the highest rated Welding Certificate in Canada. I googled it as I can't reach my friend and it is equal to two Seals from other Provinces. (which I don't understand either).
It is also termed as a vessel welder, the vessels being high pressure conveyance vessels (pipes and whatnot) that transport the gas, oil, crude whatever from point A to point B.
He also has done decorative work for friends.
My understanding is that the gate etc welders are like a high school grad and a B ticket is like, umm maybe a doctorate??
In any event he has been talking to a gentleman from a shipping (as in boats) company but with that whole maana thing down there...who knows?
Keep in mind my knowledge of his trade is limited; I do tend to zone out when he tells me some of his stories lol
Thanks for the reply though!

quite possibly - but then I'm not a welder :-)
sounds like he would do better financially in specialized work where they would pay more for expertise. There are probably 1000's of 'welders' here that keep old vehicles on the road (just) by welding on bits from other vehicles.
or set up a business, manufacturing something that is a bit different from the norm.
other than that, sorry got no idea.
