Has any one had any experiences taking dogs to the UK?I understand they have to go into quarantine. However, on initial enquiries, the paperwork required looks to be a bit of a nightmare. Any help would be appreciated.

2 dogs, and we have had them for 3 and 4 years.

its a nightmare but if you contact dr bob the vet in sosua tel 809 5712286. he will guide you through it. i took mine to spain from here i had everything in place and by chance took them to dr bob to certify that they were fit to travel. he saw that although all my dogs had been vac for rabies every year i did not have a blood sample report i had to send them to canada with my sister who was visiting thank goodness and have everything done again there 6 weeks later they went to spain. i should have taken them to england from spain but made the mistake of coming back here so now face the same thing all over again only this time no matter what they have to go into quaranteen they never leave my property but does this matter no they are looking to make money. there are no goverment quaranteen kennals they are all privatly owned.
