HI ! I'd like to ask if the health care is good enough in DR? How is the emergency helth care,too? Or if I live in DR i need to go to US or some other island near DR ?

health care is reasonably good here as long as you can afford it or have insurance. For the poor, emergency health care is free, but is probably not to the standard of a first world country.
If you have insurance, you should be fine here - many doctors are trained abroad - and the big cities in particular have all the modern facilities you would expect.

It doesn't yet take local insurance such as ARS Universal though, although I read in the local paper that they were hoping to soon.
