Take care when ordering drinks at the Latino Bar in Sosua. The prices are crazy. Some friends ordered a Vodka cost 250 Pesos ! also the Security guys are violent. There was a time that I saw a tourist getting punched in the face by Security because he was overcharged for drinks and wanted a explenation.

I am going to keep away from Latino there are other bars like El Flow & Rambo.

I�m sorry to hear that. Sosua Life/Latinos has been one of my favourites in Sosua. For no specific reason at all, the bars I have been visiting the past few months have been El Flow and Rumba.

This is only my personal experiene, but at El Flow you are more welcome as an expat, especially when it is low season. ...and they don�t cheat with the prices and the security guys are not violent...

Difficult to say what the reception is at Rumba, as it is a new bar. Have been there a few times and can�t complain about anything. Have been very satisfied.

Sometimes the reception is depending on your company....

Just go to the rumba bar you will not be disappointed.Great people and only 60 peso for a presidente
