Does anyone know anything about the Banca RUSA in Puerto Plata (not far from the Malicon). They exchange money but also they do investments I hear.

Any information would be appreciated..

yes I know Rusa, we change money there sometimes but don't know about any investments. They are an exchange house. It's not a Banca, a Banca here sells lottery tickets. I don't think its a Banco either but I could be wrong. But then it's Dominican, so who knows?

I heard about it ,too. You can do investments there, but I change my money only there.An investment , no thanks .

there are a lot of rusa bancas and they are ok for changing money . but investing . you are better to go to a reputable bank. banco central in santiago is the best but has suspended taking private money for the moment. DONT invest on the street unless you can afford to lose it. i know many people who have and have gone home penniless

Thank you for your reply..... the persons interested in investing at the Banco Rusa are checking it all out. They are paying 10%on the Pesos for one year and they have been in business for 28 years....

sylvia, is this banca insured throught f.d.i.c.?
if not, i'd rather keep my money under my pillow.
the only way i invest is in a banca who produces a f.d.i.c logo even if its only 3% on your money.
the only way to loose any or all of your money throught any bank with f.d.i.c. insurance is that after the u.s. government is declared bankrupt and insolvent. which is hard to happen.
statistcs say that bancas after 25 to 30 years of operation are bored and ready for a ponzi scheme. beware investors, its your hard earning sweat and tears money, don't be greedy.

Best place to invest in Puerto Plata is Anoeca (anoeca.com), I receive 19% in Pesos account & 12% in US account. There is no such thing here in the DR as F.D.I.C. Alberto Noesi has been in business for over 19 years

finally i got what i was dreaming for. now i can sell my house easely for two hundred grands and invest it with anoaca for a 12%. thats 24.000 dollars of interest each year, sure i can live out of that very comfortably ever after. my only concern is what if i decided to withdraw this capital after some time? are they going to answer my calls????? i don't think so.

I have invested there for 5 years. They never failed to pay me monthly interest in my Banco Popular account.
I was easy to get my money when i needed it.
