Does anybody know a reliable source/website for cheap one way flights to the UK. I know Thomas Cook and Thomson do standard priced direct charter flights bookable approx 1 week prior to departure. Looking for alternatives; not necessarily direct route.

I am a Brit and fly back to England from the DR.. I always used one of the tour ops you mentioned above... one way is around US$450. Its a direct flight. Let me know if you find something cheaper with jetairfly.

This is just in case I can't get Thomson or Thomas Cook direct. Their tickets are approx US$585 one way to UK bookable 1 week prior to departure date.

It's an easy short train ride from Brussels Airport to the station used by the Eurostar train. But Eurostar between Brussels and London is not cheap.

An alternative would be to fly. I think that British Airways and Brussels Airlines fly to London Heathrow. I think there are several BA flights a day. My experience of looking at this route in the opposite direction is that BA prices vary widely depending on which flight you choose. There may be flights to other UK airports possibly by other carriers.

I know that British Airways only flies from Punta Cana ! I think the only direct way of flying one way to UK..London Gatwick, Manchester and other airports in England are via the Tour Ops... around US$450.

Thanks for help! Will be flying back with just 20kg each after 3 years here as much easier to sell everything and go charter with Thomson or Thomas Cook direct to Manchester. Just a few more items of furniture to sell. Oh, and all me and my daughters clothes!
