Help on Real-Estate Listings

 

How do I get started

1. Register your free account on DominicanCentral.com if not already done so by visiting www.dominicancentral.com/register/ and then confirm your registration by clicking on the link in the email received.

2. If you have a business, go to the 'Business Directory' section and add your company details.

3. Important: Now, send an email telling us you are adding listings, to support@dominicancentral.com with your name, company name and telephone, then we will ensure that the correct contact details show against all your listings. If you do not do this, your contact details may not show correctly on your listings.

3. Read the guidelines at the bottom of this page before adding your listings as listings that do not confirm to these guidelines will be deleted without warning.

4. You are now ready to add your listings!

 

How to add your listings to DominicanCentral.com

Option 1 - Manually

1. Log in at www.dominicancentral.com

2. From the menu, click on 'Add new real-estate listing', or click on the 'real-estate' tab at the top, and then click on the 'add new listing' option on the left menu.

3. Ensure that the 'Show only my listings' box (if visible) is ticked near the top of the page.

4. Enter the listing information and click on the 'save listing' button, before you add any photos.

5. While you are logged in you can browse all listings on the site and edit any of your own simply by clicking on the 'edit listing' link which will appear on your own listings.

Option 2 - Automatically

Please contact us for more information on this. The simplest way is for your webmaster to provide us with an XML feed of your listings from your website. We can then use this to import all your listings automatically. If your webmaster is not able to do this then there may be other options available - please ask us.

 

Listing Guidelines

Description of property is to be used purely to describe the property. It must not contain your name, the name of your company or other information that does not describe the property.

Please use the fields provided to accurately describe the property, i.e. price, property type, size etc.

All listings must have a valid price.

Land must show a price for the plot. The price per meter may only be shown in the description or title.

Prospective buyers have two methods to contact you, either by telephone which will be displayed near the bottom of the page or using the email contact form.

All listings must be genuine, correctly described and available to purchase through you.

If you are an agent for the seller, you must have a valid and current written contract with the seller.

Photos must not contain text or watermarks.
