3 Canadians arrested in 72kg drug bust

Three Canadians and a Dominican were arrested and identified as Wendy Magdalena Abreu Polanco, Oliver A. Willis, David George Daniel Parker and Mauro Giuseppe. Agents of the DNCD also seized US$49,000, 32 cellphones, a pistol with three magazines and a large number of bullets. They also impounded a Honda Acura SUV, a Ford Explorer and took away a watch valued at 200 thousand dollars.
At a press conference, DNCD spokesman Roberto Lebron said the apartment is owned by a wanted man, Antonio Manuel Freitas. He explained that the drugs were discovered hidden in the Ford explorer in the parking lot of apartment B7, block G31, in David Ben Gurin street in the capital. He was particularly surprised at the bullets they found as they are police and military issue designed to penetrate bullet proof vests.

The suspects were brought before a judge within hours of the arrests
