3 foreign visitors killed in 24 hours

The victims were identified as British national Richard Porter, 72 years old; Italian, Federico Ricchi, 25; and Jakob Lusti, 64 years old from Switzerland.
The police report states that the British man, who was staying at Hotel Hacienda Resort in Cofresi, died after suffering from a heart attack while swimming near the hotel.
The young Italian tourist who was staying at one of the apartments in "Royal Residence" in Cabarete, appeared to have drowned in the hotel swimming pool. According to reports, his body was found in the pool by his father, Massimo Maria Ricchi . Apparently he had decided to go swimming immediately after finishing his lunch and was found moments later floating in the pool.
Meanwhile, the Swiss man, Jakob Lusti was found dead on the Main Street in Callejn de la Loma.
The National Police said that the local medical examiner, Freddy Salazar, had made an initial report of strangulation as the cause of death. Lusti was found in his room, tied at the feet and hands and his mouth gagged.
The police report went on to say that several people had already been arrested in relation to this case and they were confident of solving what appears to be the murder of the Swiss man.
