3 more Super Tucano aircraft received

Viewed 833 times.On Wednesday 21, in the Brazilian city of San Jose do Campos, Dominican Major General Pilot Carlos Rafael Martin Altuna Tezanos (DEM) FAD, received from Empresa Brasileira de Aeronautica SA (Embraer), three AT- 29B Super Tucano aircraft. This brings the total received so far to 5, out of an order of 8.
The transfer certificate was signed by Albert P. Close, chief of Defense Contracts, Geraldo Ferreira da Silva, Director of Defense Market Customer Support and, on behalf of the Dominican State, General Altuna Tezanos, Chief of Staff of the Dominican Air Force.
The committee that accompanied General Altuna to Brazil to receive the aircraft, was composed of Major General Pedro Cceres Chestaro EN, director of military intelligence at the Ministry of the Armed Forces, and Colonel Pilot Leonel A. Muoz Noboa FAD director of Projects and Programmes of the Dominican Air Force
The aircraft will fly over the territories of Brazil , Colombia and Aruba on their journey to San Isidoro air base.
