5 sub-standard health clinics closed

Bautista Rojas Gomez, the Health Minister, explained that they violated the General Health Law 42-01 and Regulation 1138, which controls medical clinics. 
He warned that his Ministry takes public safety seriously and any health center that does not conform to the relevant standards will be closed.
The Minister said the clinics which had been closed were: Centro Unión Médica Oriental, (Antigua Clínica doctor Pieter), in Los Minas, Santo Domingo; the Consultorio Médico José Antonio Cruz Guerrero; Consultorio Médico Doctor Caccavelli; Doctora José dental clinic and the Doctor Martínez medical center for obstetrics, all in Samana.
