65.5% of companies with fewer than ten employees

Viewed 19 times.The national survey of activity economic 2009-10 (ENAE) and the directory of companies and establishments economic 2010, held each year the National Bureau of statistics (ONE), revealed that the 65.5% of the companies in the national territory have fewer than ten employees, that manufactures companies generate the 43.9% of these jobs and that 96% of enterprises have computers in the country.
Companies in the manufacturing sectors and trade represent a 36.4% and a 35.3%, respectively, value added gross total of companies, requires the report that was overtaken by the ONE. With regard to the possession of information technologies, the ONE further points out, that the 92.9% has Internet, and the 85.6% e-mail (electronic mail).
ENAE is a lifting of economic information for Dominican companies, that allows to estimate their activity levels and learn about its main components. Constitutes a u000aBasic tool for decision-making, both in the public sphere as a private and a valuable resource for the development of academic activity and economic analysis.
Currently the ONE is working on the data capture on the ENAE-2011 and considers that its results will be available by the year 2012.
