7 taxi drivers killed every month

So far in 2010, 43 taxi drivers have been murdered while working in the National District.
The Taxi Drivers Union denounced the startling figures which equate to 7 deaths every month.
Manuel Espinosa, president of Union Taxi Workers of Las Caobas called on his colleagues to demonstrate at the Juvenile Court on Thursday where several juveniles are to be tried for the murder of 8 taxi drivers.
