89.3 per cent of middle-level facilities is poor

The 89.3% of the public schools of the medio-modalidad level of the country was classified as poor, according to the classification of schools (Clace 2011) presented by the Foundation to think and grow; while that 58.8 per cent is in a similar situation in the private sector.

Of 1,107 evaluated public lyceums, 989 were in category D (with less than 55 points average notes); 47 in C (between 55 to 69 points); 35 are B (in the range from 70 to 84), and only 36 in A (with more than 85 points).

Results
first school ranking discussed the academic results of 1,789 educational centers of public high school and private, of a total of 5,515 schools analyzed throughout the country on the basis of the performance of students in national tests for.

Between schools that offer education more deficient media are the semi-official Holy Trinity, municipality Santo Domingo Este; the private Dagia Abinader, in u000aSantiago de los Caballeros, and the public Center Solidario the Samaritan, in Hato Mayor del Rey; Minerva Altagracia Rodriguez left, in Villa Bisonó, Santiago, and the castanets in the community of the same name, province Monte Cristi.

As regards public polytechnic institutes, the 81.3 per cent of educational establishments were classified as poor, with an average below rank of 55 points, and in the private sector is of 78.95%.

Clace 2011 was prepared by the Foundation to think and grow, former Minister of education, videoclip walls, under the auspices of the European Union and of the Directorate-General of Multilateral cooperation coordinates.

Total of 5,515 schools evaluated, 4,564 obtained category D (poor) to 82.7%, according to the school ranking awarded to 397 schools category, 254 (b) and (c) 300.
