A day of reforestation with great energy

State electricity companies held the first day of joint reforestation in the vicinity of the Higuamo River, in San Pedro de Macorís, as part of the strategic actions of Corporate Social responsibility that is running the sector for the conservation of the environment.
Around of 600 employees of the Dominican Corporation of State electric companies (CDEEE), the distribution companies electricity Edenorte, Edesur and Edeeste; and those of transmission (ETED) and hydroelectric generation (EGEHID), they planted the energy forest with approximately 20 thousand trees of oak, layer and calla, donated by the Ministry of environment and natural resources.
The initiative lies within the program of the month of reforestation, held by the Ministry of the environment
