A Dominican becomes part of the CIC

The Dominican lawyer José Ricardo Feris Ferrús was appointed managing director of the International Court of arbitration based in Paris, France, attached to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

The inclusion of Feris Ferrús represents an important milestone for the Dominican law, that the Arbitration Court is regarded as the most prestigious in the world in its jurisdiction.

Feris Ferrús graduated of Bachelor's degree in law, magna cum laude, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), in 2001, making post degree in International Legal Studies, New York University.

In 2003 he switched to play as lawyer Assistant judge in the International Court of Justice in the Hague, Netherlands.
