A Dominican becomes part of the CIC

The inclusion of Feris Ferrús represents an important milestone for the Dominican law, that the Arbitration Court is regarded as the most prestigious in the world in its jurisdiction.
Feris Ferrús graduated of Bachelor's degree in law, magna cum laude, at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), in 2001, making post degree in International Legal Studies, New York University.
In 2003 he switched to play as lawyer Assistant judge in the International Court of Justice in the Hague, Netherlands.
Between 2003 and 2004was selected by the competition for the career of the International Court of arbitration of the CIC, where from 2004 to 2007 served as Deputy Chief and from 2007 to 2011 adviser responsible for the area of Latin America and u000aPeninsula Iberica.
