AAA Four Diamond rating to Bamboo Restaurant in Punta Cana

The tourism guide of the American Automobile Association (AAA) has included in its list of favorite places to visit two popular restaurants in the Punta Cana Resort & Club: the Bamboo and the “La Yola.”
The Bamboo Restaurant, which received four diamonds, is located in the Tortuga Bay luxury boutique hotel.
The restaurant’s menu is a Mediterranean inspired combination of modern cuisine, with a variety of innovative fusion dishes.
The restaurant was decorated by world-famous fashion designer Dominican-American Oscar de la Renta.
The “La Yola” restaurant received three diamonds and is situated in Punta Cana’s marina.
The Tortuga Bay beachfront Hotel is a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World, Virtuoso-Hotels & Resorts, of Signature – Travel Network and Fine Hotels & Resorts – American Express.
The hotel has also earned the 2011 Travel & Leisure Global vision Award and the 2009 Conde Nast World Saves Award.
The Turtle Bay also received, for a second consecutive year, the Five Diamond rating from the AAA guide. This distinction is awarded to tourism facilities that have demonstrated a total commitment to excellence in every facet of their operation.
Of the 37,000 hotels ranked by AAA in 2012, Tortuga Bay is now among the exclusive group of 0.25% hotels that achieve this distinction.
In addition, less than three percent of more than 27,000 restaurants have received the AAA Four Diamond award. AAA inspectors evaluate food, service, decor and ambience.
