Abinader details agricultural plans

The Vice of the Dominican Revolutionary Party, Luis Abinader, presidential candidate yesterday said that a Government of Hipólito Mejía specialize a Fund of 65 billion pesos to finance the rescue and the modernization of production agriculture.
These funds, he added, would be channelled through the national budget and various mechanisms credit.
Abinader, who is an economist, said that as part of that programme provided allocate 30 billion pesos to finance 6 thousand 250 greenhouses which would help to consolidate food self-sufficiency for the country and that would positively transformed the social and economic conditions of the Dominican countryside.
Said that technicians who drew up the proposal in consultation with the candidate Mejía pose specialize for the agricultural sector, during the four years of the next period, 15 billion pesos from the national budget, 10 billion of the funds of Petrocaribe, 5 u000a1 billion of the Bank's reserves and 5 thousand of the Central Bank.
