About 22 students poisoned by eating the school breakfast

About 22 students and the Concierge at the educational center Felicia Cuesta Díaz, in the community of Básima, in the municipal district of San José del Puerto, in Villa Altagracia, were intoxicated then, allegedly, they consume the school breakfast.

This fact has led to the director of the educational centre, Alberto Cáceres, the receiver of the district, Santos Baez of Jesus and the Federation of boards of neighbours of Villa Altagracia, to ask the Ministry of education withdraw the contract with the current company that supplies food to the school, called Flopak Caribbean.

Requested that you resumed the contract with the Consortium Rica, company which previously provided food, because never said presented no problem with breakfast.

Claim that "this liquid consumed students is contaminated water and not milk as it should be".

Explained that the situation degenerated not something worse due to the rapid u000ainvolvement of teachers and medical personnel who attended those affected.

While the director of the educational district 0404 of Villa Altagracia, Francisco Roque Rosario, said that an investigation was initiated to establish what happened.

Teachers and the headmaster of the school decided not to supply the school breakfast, so it has been suspended temporarily.

The Concierge was identified as Juana Vargas, who along with students is stable, and they were given high greets Centre where they were admitted.
