Albuquerque decorates member House of the Lords of the United Kingdom

Vice President of the Republic, Rafael Alburquerque, imposed yesterday the decoration with the order Heraldry of Christopher Columbus in the degree of officer, Lord Leslie Griffiths, Member of the House of the Lords of the United Kingdom, on the occasion of his visit to the next country to others members and investors of the United Kingdom.

The distinction was made during a ceremony held in the Hall of ambassadors of the National Palace, during which Alburquerque said that it is a pleasant and special recognition the that a figure with the credibility and the career of Lord Griffiths "considers the Dominican Republic as the country better positioned to promote to the international community, the urgent need to politically stabilize and relaunch the economic development of Haiti".
