Alejandro Fernández will operate knee

Singer Alejandro Fernández was subjected in Mexico surgery on the knee, due to a fall he suffered on Tuesday while it skiing in Colorado, United States, reported their representatives.

Artist Press Office said in a statement that in the incident, Fernandez broke the outer side of the tibia and was assisted emergency in that country, but due to the severity of the injury was necessary surgery, which took place in Guadalajara, capital of the Western State of Jalisco.

The performer of popular music Office reported that the operation "lasted two hours and was successful" and that the artist "is very quiet and keeps rest in the company of his family".

Fernandez must perform physical therapy for six weeks to strengthen his knee, for what is expected that can fulfil the commitments agreed upon.
