American busted on sailboat with marijuana

Agents of the National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD), working with the Army, seized a shipment of marijuana from a sailboat off the Dominican coast at Pedernales. The cargo consisted of 92 packages weighing 170 pounds, authorities said.
The 32 ft boat was being sailed by an American, Steven Louis, who was taken into custody by local DNCD agents.
He will be questioned by DNCD and prosecutors Maritza Daz Corcino and Eleuterio Cuevas.
