American drugs �mule� arrested at Las Americas airport

An American was arrested on Wednesday night with a stomach full of bags of narcotics and just over one kilogram of cocaine in his shoe insoles, reported the National Drug Control Agency (DNCD).

The report said that Ettu Abiombola, an American who came to the country as a tourist, was seized before boarding a Jet Blue flight to New York from Las Americas airport.

He was taken to the Central Hospital of the Armed Forces to have the drugs removed from his stomach.
