American lawyer shot dead in Sosua

An American, Arthur Lee Tarlow, 63 years old, has been shot and killed in his Sosua home.
Police have revealed few details of the shooting, but say they have good clues as to the identity of the killers.
The National Police commander in Sosua, Colonel Nelson Araujo, said that robbery was not thought to be the motive at the moment
People who knew the American Tarlow described him as a fine person and were mystified as to who would want to kill him.
Tarlow managed a major law firm, (Tarlow Naito & Summers LLP) in Oregon, United States, which was involved in a US$3.9 million law suit against a group of Dominican businessmen.
He owned a luxurious million dollar home in Playa Chiquita where he lived alone with two employees.
