Announce showers because of the wind from the east/northeast

The Office National Meteorology (ONAMET), reported today that the Dominican territory will remain under the incidence of dragging the cloudiness caused by the prevailing wind from the east/northeast.

According to the report of ONAMET, predicted that during the afternoon and early hours of the night will occur showers sporadic with isolated tronadas on regions North, Northeast, Southeast and the Cordillera Central.

In addition, the sea conditions in the Atlantic coast of the country continue with wind and waves abnormal, fragile and small craft should remain in port, while in the Bay of Samana can operate within the Bay.

Last reported an area of heavy rain and thunderstorms located at 1440 km east/northeast of the Lesser Antilles. This system has very low potential (10%) to reach the category of subtropical cyclone during the next 48 u000ahours.

In Santo Domingo and the National District will be half cloudy with increases in cloud after noon, showers of short duration and isolated tronadas.
