Announced international forum in Colombia

Viewed 22 times.The Global Foundation for democracy and development (Funglode), Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and Universidad del Rosario announced yesterday the celebration in Cartagena, Colombia of the "International Forum Arab-Latinonamericano, building a partnership for development and peace", from 30 November to 2 December 2011.
Global and generators of Arab and Latin American opinion leaders will meet in this city, in a forum which has the support of the Government of Colombia, with the goal of building an Alliance Árabe-Latinoamericana for economic development, cultural and institutional.
The meeting will be also on platform to expand the dialogue through the establishment of scenarios that promote deliberate efforts called to impact positively on the global development reported el Ambassador Hassan Rahman, senior advisor of Funglode and coordinator general of the activity.
Pointed out that in this forum u000ainvolving civil society representatives, officials of the Central American ministries of Foreign Affairs, personalities from the academic, cultural and political world, as well as representatives of the Arab community and Jewish in Latin America, Central America, United States, Europe, Israel, and Palestine.
The Conference will focus on several crucial issues that will help shape the dialogue and practical projects that emerge from this Exchange and the initiatives that will lead to short and medium term.
"The Forum International Arabic-Latinonamericano is called to become another important piece in the context of the creation of a dynamic between the Arab world and Latin America relationship, to assist the growing partnership between both companies, and to build the Foundation for future initiatives for monitoring and cooperation with measurable positive impacts," said Rahman.
