Another mission went to Washington on Sunday

In a bid to bridge differences and continue discussions to close the seventh and eighth revision of the Pact Stand by with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), traveled to Washington last Sunday a delegation of the Central Bank and the Ministry of finance.

The Government and the IMF would sew up the Pact at beginning of 2012. However, the Governor of the Central Bank, Héctor Valdez Albizu, said he favors an extension of the Convention.
