Ask measure of coercion against former President DNCD for domestic violence

The judge of the fifth Court of the magistrate of the National District, was empowered today a request for measures of coercion, consisting of guarantee economic, against the former President of the National Directorate of Control (DNCD) retired Vice Admiral Iván Peña Castle, on charges of gender-based violence and domestic, by his wife Thelcemary Georgina Mejía Agramonte.

Judge Ileana Perez, was empowered of the application of the measure by the judge Coordinator of the courts of the instruction, Rosalba Garib Holguín, to know the pediment presented by the Deputy Prosecutor Roxanna Campusano, care and prevention of violence, Department of gender violence unit

It was reported that tomorrow judge set audience measure of coercion for next week, since the former officer was left free by the Ministry public.

In the instance the prosecution further requests u000athe Court handed down order of judicial protection for the victim, who had three sons with the accused, 12, 9 and 7 years of age in a relationship of 14 years of marriage.

Also, the public prosecutor's Office requested the judge order Peña Castle, to refrain from "annoy, intimidate, or threaten the victim", as well as the interdiction of access to the residence or places frequented by Mejía Agramonte.

According to the lawsuit filed by Mejía Agramonte, since she is married to the accused had been assaulted by this verbal, physically and psychologically, saying that he is a person "calculator that when you take becomes very aggressive and insulting people".

Points out that the first of December last, the accused Castle Peña withdrew personal documents in the home they shared, such as passports, keys, contracts and certificate of ownership, which are found in a box u000aFort.
