At least 73 killed in clashes after soccer game in Egypt

Seventy-three people died on Wednesday night at the outbreak of clashes after a football match between two Egyptian teams in the city of Port Said (North), according to a new medical record.

Clashes between supporters of the Al Masri and the the Ahli caused 73 dead and hundreds of injured, according to data gathered by AFP in several hospitals in Port Said.

Skirmishes began when the referee whistled the end of the game in which the to el Masry inflicted the first major defeat of the season to the to the Ahly, one of the best teams in Egypt, to beat 3-1 in the National Championship.
