Attacks in Afghanistan causing 59 deaths

At least 59 people were killed and 150 were wounded Tuesday in two attacks in Afghanistan, of whom the most lethal was carried out in Kabul by a kamikaze during a Shiite procession of Ashura, one of the most sacred of this branch of the Islamic holidays.
Taliban insurgents, most of the attacks that have claimed suicide in Afghanistan in the last 10 years, "strongly condemned" in a statement the attacks which killed and wounded on Tuesday to "innocent compatriots" in Afghanistan.
"A large number of our innocent compatriots have died or were injured by acts contrary to islam's enemies in Kabul and Mazar-i - Sharif and inhuman", according to this statement.
