Attend 333 cases by traffic accidents

The attentions of emergency requested by patients victims of traffic accidents began to increase from last weekend in hospitals specialized in Traumatology of the capital, which is why its directors warned of the need that the authorities and the families adopt control measures to prevent the loss of lives, especially young, during holidays Christmas.

Before this trend also Darío Contreras and Ney Arias Lora hospitals began to take action in their areas of emergency and internment to be prepared against the contingencies that may be.

Only the last weekend the Dario Contreras received 333 patients in the emergency traffic, while this year it has received 10,127 patients for their cause in that service, of a total of 38,657 emergencies handled from January until 11 December.

While in Ney Arias Lora 90% of u000apatients treated in the emergency area during the weekend was by accident. From January to October this year the Centre attended 17,001 emergencies, mostly fruit of transit accidents
