Bagrícola needs more resources

The administrator of the agricultural Bank, Collado Abreu Paíno, warned that if the institution fails to a permanent and effective funding source registered a stagnation of investment and the creation of new jobs in the countryside, which in his opinion first negatively in the gross domestic product farming.

Insisted that funding in the field rests primarily on the agricultural Bank, situation that will persist until that will capitalize on the entity, handled with the current criteria, and create the conditions to ensure the participation of the private banking, starting with the installation a second floor agricultural Bank, establishing the National Fund of guarantee for the financing in the field and the expansion of agricultural insurance, among other incentives.

Abreu Collado argued that sensible sectors of the country should be aware about the reality of the agricultural and what would be its future if it improves the situation of the u000afinancing.

Revealed that in 2011 the Bagrícola disbursed loans to agricultural producers for a total of RD$ 6,489.1 million, for an implementation of 101.64% with regard to projected for the period of RD$ 6,384.6 million.
