Banco Popular offers concert altagraciano

Also participated as a guest soloist the young clarinetist, Juan Esteban Martínez.
On this occasion, the guests could enjoy a musical programme that included issues of two European authors and one Dominican. This event is part of the activities planned for the altagraciana devotion.
The President of Banco Popular, Manuel a. Grullón, to pronounce the words of welcome, expressed its satisfaction in order to carry out this traditional concert in honor of the mother spiritual of the Dominican people, while Monsignor Gregorio Nicanor Peña, Bishop of this diocese, acknowledged the work done by the people's Bank in support of art and culture within their programmes u000aof responsibility Social.
Furthermore, father Evaristo Areché, rector of the Basilica of Higüey, also addressed the public who came to the place.
The evening in honor to the Virgin of la Altagracia ended with the "fantasy Merengue", a Rhapsody of 35-minute written by master Molina in 1989 to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the National Theatre, and was enjoyed to the fullest by those present.
