Barrick implements project for management of low hills

The project "Management and conservation of the natural resources of the low hills village Viejo-Los Haitises", is aimed at reforestation from old town to the National Park of the Haitises, and preservation of the species than the living.
The Convention to implement this project was signed and submitted at the hotel Ambassador West, and is an effort of the organisation Enda Dominican, the peasant Federation Zambrana-Chacuey with the joint support of the company Barrick Pueblo Viejo, the Dominican Government, the Embassy of Canada and other national entities and international.
