Between taxes, pension and police
posted on: Dec 8 2011 7:9 by RDugey. Viewed 13 times. One of the aspects that has most contributed to some euro-zone countries to enter into an unsustainable fiscal défict is the large amount of money that the Government should have to meet pensioners and retirees.
But the problem itself is not "normal" pensions, i.e. those which are awarded by disease or antigu¨edad in the service and within legal parameters accepted, but pensions granted to young, suitable people to work and also with very high amounts. While in some countries the minimum age for retirement is is 70 years, other is 60 years, and even less. As sometimes you have to learn from others and put the beard in soaking, just a simple analysis to know that our country is not far behind that give complacent, unearned pensions and amounts exaggerated.
In general terms, our current system of pensions and retirement is governed by the following u000alaws: A general public employees pension system, governed by the N.°379 Act of 1981, which requires that the person concerned has served public for more than 20 years and has attained the age of 60 years, allocating in its article 2, paragraph II, which in any case the amount of the pension will be greater than the sum of 8 national salarythat is never greater than close to RD$ 56,000 monthly.
The law N. ° 87-01 of Social Security, whose article 45 establishes that the right to an old-age pension is acquired when affiliate proving to have a minimum age of 60 years and has paid contributions for a minimum of 360 assessments.
Special legislation granting pension to certain meritorious persons, by a decision of the legislature.
However, the problem arises in those decentralized institutions of the Government, as the Central Bank, the Banco Nacional de la Vivienda (BNV), the Central Electoral Board (JCE), and others that are governed by u000aits own legal and administrative provisions since these bodies are granted hefty pension to people with less than 60 years of age, who have worked so quickly and with exaggerated values up to 100 times the national minimum wage, that is of more than RD$ 500,000 to the month
As you can see, citizens pay taxes so that some government institutions pay millions pension to certain turn politicians who have held public office for a short time.
However, we want an active police to settle for one monthly wage less than RD$ 7,000 a month.
What a democracy! Why we need to be issued immediate implementation Act, declaring that any server in the State, whether a body centralized, decentralized or autonomous, can be pensioner if it has less of 10 years of public service, except in special cases of disease, and never monthly amount is greater than 20 minimum salaries u000aNational.

Digg it!
