Big waves - surfers delight!

They urge swimmers to restrain from entering the sea during this time and small boats to remain in port. Waves of between 6 and 8 feet tall are anticipated with surf up to 10 feet tall along the Atlantic Coast.
These are due to the dissipation of a frontal system from Puerto Rico.
Temperatures will remain pleasant throughout the country and will be cold in mountain areas and valleys.
In Santo Domingo and the National District will present light rain throughout the day with gusts of wind. Temperatures will also be welcome.
Today clouds reflect the general atmosphere throughout
the eastern half of the country with light rain and gusty winds the
provinces of La Altagracia, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, San Pedro de Macoris
and La Romana.
