Board issues regulations to recognize parties

For a new political party be recognized shall have premises open at least in each of the municipalities and the Santo Domingo headers of provinces.

According to the regulations approved for those purposes by the plenum of the Central Electoral Board, the directors of a new party in which recognition is sought, not may belong to another organization policy.

The recognition of new political parties regulation involves receipt, investigation and monitoring of applications made by parties and groupings accidental character national, provincial or municipal.

Establishes, in addition, that the work of verification will be from 9 am to 6 pm and will not be limited to the information supplied by interested parties, but may include assessment and interviews of people that they reside near the premises.
