Bogotá enters block Unasur

Colombia, María Angela Holguín, Chancellor delivered yesterday in Quito the ratification by his country to the "magna carta" of the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) and thereby left full to the Agency to be the last nation to do so.
"Does give me some vergu¨enza have been the last", confessed to Holguin to the press after the ceremony, which took place before representatives of the other Member States in the Chancery of Quito, because Ecuador is the depositary of the Treaty. The entity claimed legal life in March, following the ratification of the Treaty by the legislature of the ninth country, Uruguay.
