Viewed 16 times.Enrique Bunbury noted that many of the Latin American songs that he likes heard them for the first time in bars during their tours of the continent. His love for the waltz, tango, salsa and other genres in the region grew slowly and now Spanish rocker presented their own versions of songs by composers as diverse as Atahualpa Yupanqui and the duo Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz in a new album
"Licensed bars" is an album of 15 tracks that runs Latin America and United States from the texmex of Texas to the milongas of the Silver River.
Includes topics such as the Waltz "Odiame" and "My lucky day", salsa classic Héctor Lavoe and Willie Colón.
"Is a tribute to Latin American music... thanks for all the good insights, everything that I've learned through these classical composers of different countries and genres," said the singer in a recent interview with the u000aAP.
"I think that all these musicians made timeless music, beyond his time." "I think that it is current music that touches us exactly the same heart that 50 or 60 years ago, when they wrote," added.
The recording, which was released in digital format last month and will be physically available from Tuesday, is a musical journey through an imaginary character Bunbury created: Licenciado canteens.
