Campaign against illegal fraud

Fraudulent immigration services have become so sophisticated they are advertised on the internet through sites that imitate to perfection of the agencies of the Government, said US officials yesterday Thursday to submit a national campaign of awareness against such crimes.

Officials of national agencies, State and local, as well as lawyers and advocates for immigrants met in Newark to extend nationally a pilot campaign that began in seven cities.

Its approach is a combination of law enforcement, education and collaboration between agencies. "They are not only high-tech fraud, people in the neighborhoods are: people who know people, people coming out to shake you hand", said Kelvin Chen, a lawyer for the Commission Federal of trade.
