Canadian dies in Cabarete hotel

A Canadian man was found dead at the weekend at the Ocean Manor Hotel in Cabarete.
Daniel Vinco Longeo, 50 years old, had been staying at the hotel on vacation and was apparently using a computer in hotel reception when he died around 1:00am on Friday.
The local medical examiner issued a preliminary report indicating Longeo died of a heart attack, however Police have sent the body to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences in Santo Domingo for autopsy to confirm the actual cause and an investigation remains open.
