Cardinal says criminals disrupt peace and are not honest

The cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez said yesterday that criminals tend to be people who are not honest and disturb the peace, while it appealed to the national police to behave in a respect for the people.
"Obviously, criminals tend to be people who are not honest," said.
"Are criminals who are looking for ways to disrupt society and then have a conflict, that the police is to control public order, to ensure the safety", said the cardinal.
However, López Rodríguez recalled that is never justified the execution through a lynching and that, in principle, he disagreed that.
"The preferable would an arrest and bring him to justice," he added.
"The preferable is that lynching there is no and that hopefully always keep order, the law and the control of persons, without reaching these" u000a"terms", said the cardinal.
