Meanwhile, Grupo Elico Dominicano said that the company wanted to find new investment projects in the Dominican Republic, to produce renewable energy.
In February last year, President Leonel Fernandez announced the start of a project initiated by Grupo Elico Dominicano, a subsidiary of Spanish company, Inveravante, to invest 132 million euros in two wind farms, one in Peravia and another in Montecristi, to produce 50 megawatts of power.
