Celebrate first version of the folk Caribbean Festival

With an artistic and cultural display held in Santo Domingo the folk Caribbean Festival (Festifolkcaribe), in its first version, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Ballet traditions Dominicans, one of the most complete cultural groups of the country which includes in his repertoire folkloric and popular choreographic proposal.

In the event an extensive programme of conferences that will remain until morning unfolds and will tour different schools in the country, where Dominican artisans present their products and a sample of its preparation, in a spectacular exhibition

The closure will be the 18th and 19th from 7: 00 in the evening with performances at the Spain square, where more than 20 folk groups will make deployment of the colorful and lively history of a cultural heritage that enriches every day.

El Festifolkcaribe will be held every two years, and on this occasion has the support of various u000ainstitutions such as DIGECOOM, Ministry of tourism, Foundation Manuel Jiménez, CEDUCA, Cultural network, CISCURD among others.
