Viewed 87 times. The director of the Special Airport Security Corps (CESA), ordered the immediate expulsion of two CESA members together with two National Drug Control (DNCD) officers. It is claimed the men tried to extort US$400 at the airport from Chinese entrepreneur Wu Jinfeng when he left the country with his family.
Last year the Navy dishonorably discharged three officers operating in cahoots with the Dominican Deyanira Altagracia Lora, whom they accuse of being the head of an illegal smuggling network in Puerto Rico and had responsibility for several tragedies at sea.
Meanwhile, Pilot General of the Dominican Air Force (FAD), Pedro René Valenzuela Quiroz said the agents expelled, Fanny Vásquez and Olga Ramírez Luciano were seriously at fault in the performance of their duties.
He warned that while he takes care to to help every member of CESA in painful situations either with health or economic problems, he will deal harshly with criminal acts which tarnish the good name of the institution.
"Anyone committing inappropriate acts in this organization will be removed and sent to civil justice authorities," declared General Valenzuela Quiroz.
Also, the Navy public relations chief, Captain Juan Bienvenido Crisóstomo Martínez revealed the officers discharged last year were former Lieutenant, Jonathan Jimenez Pena and former Frigate Lieutenants, Francisco Valera González and Alfonso Ferreras Mercedes.
