CESEP stops at several stowaways

A group of 21 stowaways were arrested yesterday by the specialized body of port security (CESEP) when they tried to travel illegally to United States hidden in containers that were brought to that country teams of the company of fun 'Iguana Park'.

Information on the arrest of undocumented Dominicans was released yesterday by the director of the CESEP, Rear Admiral Luis Lee Ballester, through a communiqué.

"These arrests were made possible by a security operation aimed at preventing the illegal departure of persons which sometimes has tried," said the high official.

Undocumented workers were employees and residents of the former international airport of Herrera, area where he was installed for several months 'Iguana Park'.

The operation was conducted on the same grounds of the old terminal, as well as in the port of Santo Domingo.
