Chávez encourages Lula in fight against cancer and says that he will visit December

Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez spoke yesterday with the Brazilian leader Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, she encouraged him in his fight against cancer and told him that he intends to visit him in December, the exmandatario Press Office reported yesterday.

"Chávez said that he hopes to visit former President Lula at a date to his voyage to the new investiture of the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández, which will take place on 10 December," said a brief statement of the Lula Institute providing information about a telephone conversation held yesterday between both politicians.

The Brazilian, 65, exmandatario faced with cancer of the larynx which was detected on October 29 and that already forced you to undergo two first sessions of chemotherapy.

Chávez also suffers from cancer, nature not clarified but located in the pelvic area, which ensures that is cured but remains subject to rigorous controls.
