Christmas tree arrives at the White House

Michelle Obama continued Friday with a tradition of several decades, to witness the arrival of the tree to decorate the White House during the holiday season.

The first lady, along with daughters Malia and Sasha, and the family dog, named Bo, left the residence to see the arrival of the balsam fir (Abies balsamea) 5.64 m (18.5 ft), from Wisconsin, which was taken to the entrance of the White House on a cart pulled by a horse.
